Virginia Highlands Community College wanted to refresh their long-standing Wolf mascot—an emblem that had represented campus spirit and unity for over two decades. Originally designed in the early 2000s, the mascot had become a recognizable part of student life, inspiring everything from the “Wolves Den” café to campus publications.
I led the logo redesign to give the Wolf a bold, modernized presence while preserving its connection to the school’s history. The new mark captures a sense of motion, confidence, and pride—qualities that reflect the VHCC community and its forward-looking mission.
The reimagined mascot was built for flexibility, with multiple logo lockups designed for use across merchandise, athletics, and digital platforms. The result is a cohesive identity that strengthens school spirit and gives the next generation of Wolves a symbol they can rally behind.
